Orlando is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Orlando is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Amazing place to chill and enjoy old school and new school game! Open for everybody they have bunch of types of beer so you can stay all night playing games. Prices are pretty affordable for what you get, the bartender Kat was the perfect combo always checking if we need something. Tonight there was a Drag show hosted by Anie Mae it was so good hopping to have more shows. Here is a place that I will Come back!

I walked into Player 1 with no expectations and left with more than one story. The atmosphere is an 11/10. The bartender and GM, Micael (more on her later - see pics), served up some amazing beer recommendations and was generally welcoming and upbeat. The games are fun and well maintained (except for some odd controller here and there) and offer a great respite for a few hours. There's variety and competition among friends to be had here. Now, when I tell you Micael went above and beyond, and even in the machine to ensure a pleasant experience, I mean it. Overall: iMainBowser/10

A really cool vintage arcade bar with unlimited play for a small cover โ€” I think around $5. They had tons of classic games from my childhood, โ€™80s and โ€™90s: Gauntlet, Pac-Man, Mario Kart, Mortal Kombat, and a bunch of other nostalgic favorites. I donโ€™t think they had a full liquor license, but they did serve beer and canned cocktails/alcoholic drinks.I had alot of fun.

Player 1 Video Game Bar has a relaxed, cozy vibe with low lighting and plenty of arcade ambience. I really appreciate the small details, like drink holders by the machines, gender neutral bathrooms and the fact that you can rent modern games and controllers from the front desk. The staff are friendly and often in costume, which adds to the atmosphere. One of the front desk people, Gamma, always makes me laugh and feel welcome. They are happy to help, even when I rent and swap out multiple game and accessories in a night ๐Ÿ˜…. The drink selection is solid, thereโ€™s caffeine when I need a boost, and there are several food options within walking distance if Iโ€™m planning to make a night of it.
